Wholesale raw materials and products

Find what you need among our suppliers and factories, and we advise you on the best quality-to-price ratio before you commit to an order.

How we work

Five steps between your first message and the material reaching its destination. The real work sits in the first three, before you see a price.

  1. We settle the specification

Before looking for a supplier you have to know what is being asked for. If you arrive with the specification closed, we start there; if not, we close it together, because quoting against a vague description produces bids that cannot be compared.

  2. We find and filter factories

We do not work with whoever answers first. We check real capacity, track record, certifications, and whether the data sheet matches the sample.

  3. We negotiate price and terms

This is where the margin is won or lost. Unit price, minimum order quantity, lead time and delivery terms are negotiated as one package, because moving one moves the others.

  4. We quote with real figures

You get a quote with verified minimum order quantity, lead time and delivery terms — not copied from a listing. If something is an estimate, it says so.

  5. We follow it to destination

Production, shipment and tracking. A lead time is either met or flagged early; finding out late about a delay is worse than the delay.

We do not advise on products that require a certified specialist. If a material needs someone credentialed to answer for it, we say so before quoting.

We publish studies

Before buying a material by the container you have to understand it, and that information tends to sit scattered across data sheets and manufacturer catalogues that tell you only what suits them.

The material studies we publish are the ones we do for ourselves before negotiating. They are open because an informed buyer is a better client: they know what to ask for, they compare on merit, and the lead time does not surprise them.

And every month we analyse the customs statistics countries report to the United Nations. What shows up when we cross-reference them — where the material actually comes from, what it lands at, which markets are moving — we publish as articles, alongside the Mellkar Index of prices.
